Terms of Use

These terms apply when you play Lion & Goat (the "game") at liongoat.zemora.app or in its mobile apps, or use zemora.app. The game is provided by Zemora, operated by Muhammad Saqib ("we", "us"). By playing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

1. The game

The game is free to play. We may improve, change or stop any part of it, including online play, ratings and the leaderboard, at any time. We try to keep it available but cannot promise it will always be online or free of errors.

2. Your account

• You can play as a guest, or sign in with Google, Facebook or Discord. Those services' own terms also apply to your use of them.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account and device. Tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
• To sign in, you must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent.
• You can delete your account at any time from the game's profile card; see how to delete your account.

3. Fair play and conduct

Online games are rated, so they have to be fair. You agree not to:

• Use another program, engine or person to choose your moves in online games.
• Deliberately lose games, or play against your own second account, to change ratings.
• Exploit bugs, interfere with the servers, or try to access other players' accounts or data.
• Use display names that are offensive, hateful, impersonate someone, or contain personal information about others.
• Harass other players, or use the game for anything unlawful.

If you break these rules, we may rename you, reset or remove ratings and leaderboard places, or suspend or close your account.

4. Ratings and the leaderboard

Ratings are calculated automatically and are for fun. We may correct, recalculate or reset ratings and the leaderboard, for example to fix an error or remove unfair results.

5. Our content

Lion & Goat is a traditional game, and its rules belong to everyone. The software, artwork, sounds, design and the Zemora name belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to play the game for non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, sell, modify or redistribute the game or its artwork without our permission.

6. Disclaimer

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, ratings or game progress, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game is limited to US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

8. Ending use

You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access to online features if you break these terms or if we stop offering the game. Sections 5 to 9 continue to apply afterwards.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live in a country whose consumer protection laws give you rights that can't be overridden by contract, those rights still apply.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell you in the game about important changes before they take effect. If you keep playing after that, you accept the updated terms.
